ok this quest is driving me nuts. I've been playing Gwent everytime I meet an npc that offers Gwent, I've completed the secondary quests where Gwent is involved and I have a lot of cards -

Leaders - 16

Northern Realms - 37
Nilfgaard - 33
Scoiatael - 43
Monsters - 32

My questions are -

How many cards are there?
Do you lose cards is you lose a game (not round)?

Also we could do with some sort of tracking for the cards, so that players can locate cards there missing as the track quest option does nothing.

head on over to gwentcards.com as it has everything you asked for, it's not official & it doesn't work ingame but it's is still a handy thing to use.

Thx mepe_ruse its a useful site, shame it doesn't have an overlay or some way to detect what cards you have picked up already (you know, because of all the multiple cards out there). I'm 54 cards short so far according to the numbers on gwentcards.com but I have a few locations still to uncover, hopefully will get a few from those locations. Still going to be a long haul collecting the cards that were missed.

I do have another question, do you keep the Gwent deck you have collected if you start a new game?
What about cards that you missed during quests, is there anyway to get them afterwards?

No, you don't keep your cards from a previous game.
Some card can't be obtained if you missed them.

Yeah I thought as much, shame really as I don't think many people will complete this quest.

One thing I don't understand is that if you miss gaining a card from a quest, then the 'Collect them all' quest should fail in its own right if you are unable to get that card.
