Good day, I need your help.
My PC runs Witcher 3 with high settings (with textures and shadows at max) at constant 60 fps, with GPU temp at around 80 and CPU temp at around 60. When playing after one and a half hour and quitting, my PC cools down for some minutes then reboots, without BSOD and all. I tried installing new drivers, but it didn't help.
I've noticed that Witcher 3 of all my games heats up my system the most. After that I changed my settings to medium. That helped for a while, but recently it rebooted my PC again. By the way, while high settings heat up my rig more than usual AAA games at max settings. Graphics of Witcher 3 on medium settings heat up my PC way less, but they still heat up quite a lot.
I've only encountered this problem with Witcher 3, except that one time with Shadow Tactics when it reoboted (without BSOD) during a loading screen.
My specs:
- CPU : amd fx 8350
- GPU: MSI NVidia GTX 1060 6 GB
- Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
- RAM: Kingston DDR3-1866 8192MB PC3-14900 HyperX FURY Blue
- PSU: Chieftec cft 650 14cs
- HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200rpm 64MB WD10EZEX 3.5 SATA III
Any help would be appreciated.
Random restarts can also be a symptom of a dying PSU.
