So when I originally preloaded, I forgot to change the install directory BEFORE I started the download. I thought if I changed the directory during the download it might still install to the correct drive but it didn't. No problem, I thought, I'll just move all the files like I can do with all games and fix the registry settings. I did this and when the game launched, I fixed the registry settings and was able to apply the patch manually. I've played the game for a number of hours and everything is great in terms of playing.

The problem I'm having though is that if I go into Galaxy, it shows that I have the game installed but it won't allow me to update (which it tries to do automatically) or even launch the game. I have used the little + to Scan and Update game library a number of times and when I go to the "Configure->Show Folder" option in Galaxy, it opens up the correct drive where the game was moved to.

Still, Galaxy doesn't allow me to launch the game through it. And when it does try to update, it fails. Obviously the game is up to date as I can play it by double-clicking the EXE file.. but I'd really like to make use of the achievements in Galaxy and the gametime-tracking tool and so on.

Any other information you need to know, let me know.

lol.. you linked to my own post.. :)

The problem is not that the game is not working from EXE.. that's fine, I just can't play through Galaxy :)
Is the Verify option greyed out as well?

Anyway, here's what I would do. Make a backup of the game. Uninstall the game through Galaxy. Move the backup back into place. Start downloading the game through Galaxy and it will start checking the files you already have. Once done, it should be working properly.

L O L - haven´t seen that it is your post - sry :).

As Maurish said verify your new Folder with Galaxy. It should work. I´ve done the same. Also make a backup of the folder before validating. Click + on left Side of Galaxy and then select Scan and Import Folder.
