Game runs smooth for what I expected from my rig (medium graphics)...

The thing is, I'm getting this missing ground textures that are actually driving me quite crazy, as I can see through the ground and light just gets everywhere, quite funky actually... so far only happens to ground/earth textures all other types of ground are fine (wood, stone, etc)...

I already verify the game's files, but nothing happened.

Any ideas on this?

nope, in my case there isnt texture missing.

what is your GPU? i heard some AMD user happened kind of crash. like you.

if so, best way is waiting new driver.

Yep, AMD user here R7 260x... guess I'll have to wait for that driver.
I have a similar issue in that Geralt's head and the heads/arms/legs of NPCs will just randomly turn black every once in a while, then turn back to normal after a few seconds. R9 280X here. It happens on low settings as well as ultra.

Wow... I guess mine is not as bad as yours... at least the cutscenes are not as broken without ground as they are with textureless characters...

Anyone knows where do I find people having he same issue???
My R9 290X works perfectly, tried it on a 7950, works just as well. Might be some issue with the card though, you never know it with AMD :)

I think the best we can do right now is wait for AMD to release new drivers. One of their officials confirmed they would push them out sometime this week.

Thanks for the link... I guess we'll have to wait.
Found a solution for my missing textures... messed a little bit with RadeonPro's Tessellation options... put it at x64, started the game and the texture appeared... exited the game and put "Application controls" and everything is fine now.

No problems so far after that....
Playing two hours with R9 280 here, everything's smooth, no crashes or issues... Around 40 FPS average.

Noticed it's much better to select LOW graphic presets and then manually move all the sliders to ULTRA (except foliage which is a bit bugged at ULTRA so I keep it HIGH). This gives me around 10+ FPS than simply clicking ULTRA preset (weird).

Yep, did the same myself, all presets to low and then rising one by one.

So far I'm getting a nice performance mid/high @30FPS which is enough for me.

Edit: I think that 10 FPS difference is because High and Utra presets have Hairwork (or whatever the name) enabled by default.
