What it says, basically..

long story short, I had Wild Hunt installed on my C drive. I was about half-way through Blood & Wine, when I decided to upgrade my system with an SSD. I migrated my OS partition onto the SSD, along with the Wild Hunt Installation. I backed up the documents folders separately to minimize the size of the new partition.

That was a few weeks ago. Tonight I decided to finally wrap up Blood and Wine, load the game... to find that the language was reset to English (I've been playing in Russian), the keybinds reset to defaults, and all saves were gone.

I tried migrating saves back to C:\Users\***********\My Documents\ The WItcher 3\gamesaves, but to no avail

I started a new game, and there's about 6 saves following the intro/tutorial, but I can't see them.

Any ideas where the save directory could've jumped to? I really don't have the time right now to replay the game from scratch...

"Save the game and search for the newest file." would be my suggestion.
If no luck finding them, then look at nexusmods for some different saves.
User your 'Start' / 'Run' command, and enter:

%USERPROFILE%\My Documents\The Witcher 3

That is where the game looks.
Oddly enough, I DID find the new saves-- they were in the... "My Documents" copy of the "C backup" folder I created on an external HDD to facilitate the OS move to SSD!

Sticking old saves there worked for now. Once I finish the game, I'll probably just do a clean install on the SSD again and start my second run from scratch.
