If you downloaded patch before midnight CET and NOT using Galaxy, you may have gotten a corrupted version of it. If you encounter errors during patch installation please redownload it or simply use Galaxy.

Correct MD5 for patch is: 2315c06d86d2821848174a8ca6a45ee9

lol still able to start the game, its already 1.02 and the cd projekt website too has the update available.

EDIT: Already found one bug: You have to force close w3 before starting it again

All I can think is that they are staggering the patcher among Galaxy users so there's not a total server meltdown in an hour from now..

Don't know why I'm worried.. my rig probably isn't even going to handle the game anyway.

EDIT: Got the patch download started automatically.. but then "Installation failed".. lovely. I'm downloading it from the GoG.com page instead.. hopefully better luck. I can also see the achievements listed in Galaxy now too

thx for replying that could be it, whats troubling to me is the DLC sets didnt install either (i installed game via galaxy)

LOL... This is just like a bunch of kids at Christmas.

I'm in Western Canada, and nothing yet - still says less than an hour to go.

But..., I'm sure I heard the prancing and pawing of little hooves on my rooftop!

My account is showing a download for 1.01 which jives with play.thewitcher.com. Where are you seeing 1.02?

1.0.2 at the corner of in-game main menu.

Also, the DLCs seem installed, there are directories filled with files called DLC1 and DLC2.

yep, i have DLd the patch off teh website, bc galaxy is not worth &R&&CF.

IM IN GAME :D

make sure to DL 1.01 & DLC manually guys

Galaxy not updating here. Had to log into gog.com and go to my account page, then the game download, and in its list the patch .exe is listed. Manually downloading that now.


Edit: Now that I said this, Galaxy started grabbing the patch. LOL
