CharlesGrey: Good for you. It's an adult game though, so those kids shouldn't be playing it anyway.
Hah hah, I think that was the first nude patch I ever saw or heard about, back in the day of the first Tomb Raider game. Good times.
Blezza: I disagree, i was watching something a whole lot more revealing than some breasts in a video game as early as age 13.. And i know for a fact most males in my class did the same (possibly even at an earlier age). I'm now 22 and have been playing "violent" games since around that age, possibly earlier.. My memory's a bit fuzzy on the specifics.
So in comparison the game is nothing in that department.. 18+ is ridiculous, it should be 15+ imo (ofc not if it removed any content but i hope you get what i mean)
Opening a whole different can of worms there. Obviously, that kids shouldn't play it, doesn't necessarily mean that's the way it's going to work out in reality. And yes, I played and watched all sorts of "adult" content as a kid too, and so did pretty much anyone else I know.
When I say it's intended for adults, I'm not even talking about the occasional nipple or the virtual blood fountains. I'm primarily talking about it's mature style of storytelling, the massive amount of dialogue, political and philosophical themes and so on. It's definitely no light entertainment for kids.
And I agree that most ratings of games are questionable, or at least unrealistic. The majority of "Call of Duty" players are probably in the 13 to 18 range.
jerjoe: I'm just not interested in cartoon sex. I get the real thing. Shouldn't be in a game so many kids play anyway. They're confused and messed-up enough as it is.
Fuz: Violence/dismemberment/murder = YES
Nipples = NO
I don't need no cartoon dismemberment and gore. I get the real thing.
Oh... wait.
