I'm 1.5 hours into W3, and I think I may have imported the wrong save file...

I just remembered that I went back to W2 to play the new tutorial piece that was added months after launch. So, I think I may have imported a save from when I played that tutorial instead of the save at the end of my actual W2 playthrough (when I actually completed the game).

Do I need to start the game over and import the correct save, or is there a point where I can change the save game import?

I heard that there is someone you speak to that confirms the decisions. Can I reimport a save, at that point?

Thank you!

P.S. Ideally, there would be something immediately after the import for players to confirm that import is correct.

Bump to help you get this answered, and I agree, there should be a summary somewhere when you're selecting your saved games.
Same as above. I have many saves for many play-throughs and I want to know what are the choices that I've taken before I import.
Thanks to @Maurish for his info on http://www.gog.com/forum/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt/quick_minute_question/page1

Basically, he said you really should use a specific autosave that happens at the game after the last major decision. I said there but will repeat there that W3 really should be able to find that save and offer that for import...instead of just providing a list of saves with no clear indication which the user should pick...
Okay, so, I got home, loaded up Witcher 2 and loaded my two most recent saves. The good news is that both are from the end of the game. the bad news is that the one I picked the second to last save (before the last fight). So...I ultimately picked the wrong save. The one I picked will have everything except the last decision.

I guess I'm going to have to restart W3 with the correct save since no one has answered my question, and I'm afraid of spending more time on my current W3 playthrough and having my import basically be bad.
Believe me, you have noticed this in time... 1.5 hours are nothing in a game like The Witcher, that lasts dozens of hours...

Yeah, I totally hear you. :) But I'm a dad of two kids under the age of 2, so every hour of my free time is precious. :P

I hear you.. I loaded a save that was only a fraction of the way through the game.. wish I hadn't.. but there you go.. I guess it will just go to default to whatever is missing.. I'm past the prologue now.. I have an 18-month-old son and yeah.. getting 1 or 2 hours spare to play is difficult on most days.
