Hello,

I just downloaded Witcher 3 GOT editon via GOG Galaxy and now when I'm trying to install the game, it's throwing as error, "Installation Failed"
Yes, I have disabled Avast, can someone help? Thanks

You need to find out why the Installation failed. It usually happens because you don't have a .dll file of some kind. But you also need various graphics files from Microsoft. These are free if you have a legal copy of Windows.

Personally I found it easier to download each file into a single folder. I then double clicked setup_witcher3_en_goty_2.0.0.51.exe

Click on Games in your Profile. Click on the icon for Witcher 3. Click on Downloads and click on:

DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS.

I did that exactly 5 minutes after posting on the forum, it worked out welll without any issues. I deleted the previous files, uninstalled gog galaxy and reinstalled it clean but this time I chose to download Backup installer(instead of "Installing" it directly) and bam! :)

Thanks for your help though, Cheers!
