I downloaded the latest version of the mod from nexusmods

The instructions say to put the folders into [gamepath]/mods
I can't find a mods folder, so how do I install it?

You can create mods folder by yourself, it should works.

The game does not create a 'mods' folder at installation. You have to do that yourself if you wish to add mods. Open Windows Explorer at your game installation, make sure you have 'The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt' folder selected, not any other folder inside, and create a new folder and call it 'Mods'.
It didn't work
I created the folder here - C:\Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\Mods
Put the folders in and my inventory is still limited to 60 weight

- Sorry, just realised I don't have saddlebags yet because I just started the game. Hopefully it will work

Ok, I just bought the Temerian Saddlebags but my weight limit is only 210.

I've extracted the improved saddlebags folders to the mods folder I've created, why doesn't it work?

That is correct: the mod is working. By default, your inventory weight is 60. The Tamerian Saddlebags raise that carry weight by 30. You have installed the x5 mod, so 30x5=150, and 60+150=210. Were you expecting infinite carry weight?
Half asleep sorry. Just checked the default size is 30. Working fine, thanks for the help.
