It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

TBreaker20: Try using GOG downloader instead of manually downloading each part.

logynxrunn: I just tried that. It says I need an app for that and prompts me to open the MS store to search for an app. I have no idea what I would be looking for. I'm using Windows 8.1. I managed to individually download parts 2-7, but it keeps giving me the error message I indicated earlier. (Frankly, I'm just really irritated about all of this. I have new laptop and a Witcher 3 code. I should just be able to type it in and pre-download the game. Not spend hours/days trying to get help from strangers because of some anomalous problem. This is really turning me off pc games all together. I could see if I had an old system with low specs that I might run into problems. But this is ridiculous.)
try using windows update to get all net.framework shit u need and all Visual C++ redistributable files maybe thats messing with ur install process ,might be a long shot but if i supose ur system is new u might be missing some of the redistributable files that can mess with ur games and installers

The TW3 installer actually gets Visual C++ redistributable files for you automatically during installation.
i know it does but it doesnt hurt to update all via windows update just in case some redist are missing

logynxrunn: I have a code for Witcher 3 that I received for purchasing a new gaming laptop. I entered the code and received confirmation. When I try to do the pre-download for the first file, I receive a warning message that says "Installer files missing-- please make sure you have downloaded all necessary parts. You will be asked for their location during installation. Integrity check will be skipped."

I have no clue how to proceed or where these Installer files are that I'm supposed to download. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do? Thanks.
if u downloaded 7/7 than the 25MB exe file (1/7 part) should start your instalation proces on double click (try as admin if it aint workin) ,by deafult the stuff u download should go to GoG games on ur C system partition .
im having this problem
Installation failed with code: -3 Checksum error

Please restart the installer and try again

If the problem persists, please contact Support

the problem is in the thread i dont understand what they are saying.
Also my internet is very slow when downloading so redownloading would be a pain in the ass

it also says that i have missing files but i have downloaded all six of them
