1. It runs out way too fast, especially on the hardest difficulty where it takes 6 or so hits to kill a single level 4 drowner.
2. Can only be applied from inside the inventory.
3. Cannot equip it to a hotkey or quick action button.
4. Due to how fast it runs out I find myself reapplying the oil during a fight (at least) 4 to 5 times, which is severely breaking the flow of combat / immersion factor for me. It's like its tedious just for the sake of being tedious.
5. After awhile I just stopped using oils entirely since the benefit of using them doesn't outweigh how annoying it is to maintain it during combat.
6. Once you craft it, it appears to have infinite uses? Bug or...?
I really want my 5-10 minute oil duration back from the witcher 2. I do not like the way this was redesigned all in TW3. It just plays/feels bad and tedious for no real discernible reason that justifies the way it was designed in this particular way. It literally feels like the worst possible design they could have picked.
When gameplay mods start coming out, the very first one I'm going to look for is a change to blade oils.

What I'd rather have preferred for blade oil gameplay:
1. 3/3 uses like potions.
2. A time duration such as 5 or 10 minutes.
