Hi so i have purchased the physical edition of the game along with Blood and wine DLC.
Inside the blood and wine box I have a GOG code that gog will recognize but will not allow me to download because it says that I don't have the base game. Ok!

But inside the Witcher game box the space allocated for the code is empty and i't not listed anywhere.
I have managed to install the game and it runs fine, but I can't download the free DLC's and I can't activate blood and wine.

Gog client recognizes the game, but it wants to connect. But I can't connect since I don't have a code.

attached some picture bellow:

I can post more pictures if required.

Thanks!

You need to contact the vendor you purchased the game from, and ask for a working code.

The game was gifted to me 5 months ago on my birthday but I was not able to play because I had a bad PC. No I upgraded it and it seems this purchase is worthless.

The game edition also appears to be 1.12 but Gog says the latest one is 1.31 and it won't update.

The only option is to purchase the game again?
You need to contact support, either GOG or that of the official Witcher website.

The onus was on you to check your purchase at the time it was bought/gifted. Since you left it for 5 months, the vendor is unlikely to be helpful, and GOG have no reason to reimburse you with another game. You can ask, but don't hold your breath.
You're sure it is not printed on the back of the manual?
I gave up on GOG and bought the game full on Steam.
I thought that i will have the code on the dvd. I was wrong.
