Hello dear GOG people

1) I find the white dot trail marking the quest path in the minimap particularly annoying. This is particularly game breaking for me, feel like Call Of Duty corridor guiding.

2) The minimap constantly rotates with you, making it impossible to find your direction after a fight. I would like North to stay put and the character arrow to rotate.

I would appreciate any help, maybe I miss something obvious in the option ?

Well actually you are missing something... have you opened the options menu?

Turn off "rotate map" and "show path to objective"

Yep, it can be easily turned off with a few clicks. Props to CDPR for providing players with so many ways to configure the HUD according to their own preferences.
