I have been waiting for a response from support for 5 days now, I know that they are really busy and all but any ideas about how much longer it might take them to return to me with a reply? I am not trying to complain, just worried that there might be something wrong with my ticket (I saw on other treads that it might happen) but I would just return to the bottom of the que if I tried sending in another ticket.

As you said they are very busy with sales on etc,they will get back to you when they can.
Don't send in a second request as it will become your first.

Eh, it's just annoying to just sit and wait for so long :/. Not too frustrated anymore since I started reading the books as well and I won't actually start playing the game until I'm done reading the books even if I have the game most likely but I'd still rather have access to the game :/.
