I've just finished the game and according to Galaxy it took me 98 hours and 39 minutes with around 60% achievements done.

I thought it would be interesting to see how long others took to complete the main story and achievement rate.

I'm dragging it out as long as possible. I might be close to 150 hours so far. I didn't start off using galaxy client off the bat. It wasn't until later when I wanted to verify files, that I installed it.

I always end up doing this, but I'm committed to actually finishing it.

Took me a couple years to finish the main story in Skyrim. Never finished the DLCs. I make some honest attempt and get side tracked exploring and doing side quests til I get burned out. I didn't even come close to finishing Oblivion. Same with Fallout 3, and never touched New Vegas cuz I think I am forever burned out on the post apocolyptic sci fi mutant zombie poorly written script goofy voice over genre. Yeah, I'll be buying Fallout IV lol

Pretty much the same here :)

Been playing Witcher 3 for 61 hours now and haven't seen a quarter of Velen yet. I love to explore, do sidequest, frolick though the fields and collect flowers ;)
Ending a game is not a special satisfaction for me. Playing it is the fun.

Galaxy showed 100h on my side when I completed the game. I explored everything and finished all side-quests, except the numerous tiresome (and useless) Smuggler Cache markers in Skellige.

Started my 2nd playthrough a couple days ago :)
GOG Galaxy, by the time I finished my first playthrough, says that I've been playing the game for 163 Hours, on the 2nd difficulty level.
(I'd say 160 hours, to offset the occasional break where I left the game running)

Started a new playthrough in Death March difficulty (probably just an hour or so in). :)
I've done all the Witcher contracts and have the top tier Cat armour set but there were still loads of map locations I never visited. I never hurried through the game, just wandered.
Look forward to playing all 3 games back to back maybe next year.
220 hrs for me, did every single thing and shit loads of walking ard and smelling the sea air in skellige. xD
My client says 99 hours total, however I've been playing it long past when the main story was complete.

I'm guessing it was about 90 hours for me to complete.
According to the Galaxy thing, I have 91 hours and 17 minutes and only 13% done.

I wander and take on side quests etc. etc.

Don't understand people who spend $60 and then try to finish as fast as possible and skip most of the material just in order to finish ahead of friends.

Waste of money if you aren't going to enjoy the game for the game and get as much play time as possible out of it.

Now I could understand if people had a contest to finish WITH 100% COMPLETION, having done every single quest and gotten 100% of the possible achievements.

But many / most seem to by pass everything but the main quests and race through the game as fast as they can and then think they have achieved something. Yeah they did ... they just wasted $60.

Why bother?

Just play Sudoku or something.

Reaching the game's end point faster than others is not an accomplishment.

I had to fumigate the whole place for termites camped out over the garage. I decided to finish up before being homeless lol

It's funny. Finishing it was just the cure I needed for this addiction. Now I'm off enjoying the summer until some serious DLC drops.
My first playthrough on death march took me about 120 hours doing everything, I finished at level 34 since I over-leveled the main quests and missed a lot of XP. That was mostly due to the RPG players habit of doing every quest in an area before the main quest, although partly because doing quests that are 10 levels higher than you is a lot of fun.

My second playthrough looks like it's going to take me between 70-80 hours to finish, I'm 67 hours in and just saw to the end of a certain monarch. I've done all of the quests and contracts, although I skipped all the points of interest other than the places of power, and the ones that had monsters I needed reagents from. I might go back and clear the monster dens and abandoned sites, to see how high I can get my level, but there's no point in doing the others.

3 playthroughs and counting.
Completed the game two times now.

First run was less than 70 hours with a couple of side quests, The second time included every quest available until now and I cannot tell how long it was (probably 100+ hours). I've uninstalled the GOG Galays client but I have to admit that it felt not as long as I did expect it. Some quests were to easy even that I played on the hard level.
finished my first time through a day or so ago and the stats said 16 days 6 hours 25 minutes 19 seconds.
Started my second right away.
