So yesterday I accidently upgraded my win8.1 to 10, everything seemed fine for a few a hours as I was playing the game (I am using the Gog version). Then suddenly after a gwent match during the high stakes quest all dialogue options disappeared and also the subtitles. Now I can intiate a conversation but I cannot choose any dialogue because there are none visible. And then I get stuck in the conversation without being able to do anything at all.

I've been using the 90k mod (from Nexusmods) so I can loot non-stop, so I thought it was an issue with this, I tried removing it which gave no results. I've tried verify/repair option in gog galaxy but no change. I even tried reinstalling the game, try a new game and an older save but nothing works. I even tried rolling back to win 8.1 but all in vain :/

Have tried reinstalling DirectX and the MSVC2012 found in the wild hunt _redist folder in a new attempt but no change :((
Is my game forever broken now? :((

Try pressing the "Home" key on your keyboard

This only removed the hp bar, mini map, key short cuts. The dialogue still remained invisible and me stuck in the conversation with no options to leave the conversation or continue it..

All right, navigate into "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Documents\The Witcher 3" folder. Create a "Backup" directory and move everything but the "gamesaves" folder into it. If it doesn't help, move all items from "Backup" directory back where they were and then we'll try something else still.
