Hi.

I'm new here but I wanted to post about how much I'm enjoying Witcher 3.

I love open world games. I've played Tomb Raider from the very beginning when it first dipped it's toes into the water, right up to Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Relatively recently I branched off into Skyrim but despite its sprawling beauty and crafting mechanics, it is just full of bugs and crashes to desktop frequently.

I wondered if my computer was getting a bit tired out. The spec couldn't be the problem...it should have gobbled Skyrim without it even touching the sides, but were some components malfunctioning?

I got sick of the crashes and tried Witcher 3, a game that should have pushed my PC far harder than Skyrim.

What is my reward?

A game that hasn't crashed once, despite its high end graphics and a wonderful world to explore and learn. I've been delighted by it. I'm not that good yet (just level 10 and playing on the easiest difficulty) but that doesn't matter. I'm enjoying my game completely. I love the npc dialogue, the moody atmosphere and I'm enjoying the process of learning alchemy, crafting and finding my way around things like the Bestiary.

I only regret not getting into the Witcher series earlier.

What a fantastic game!

It is an excellent game. =) Sadly, I had to take a break from it from overworld fatigue. xD Not sure if you checked already but your problems with skyrim might be fixable with downloading the unofficial patches.
