Is there anybody else that cant be arsed with the Gwent game and has no intention of even trying to play it? Or is it just me?
It's just you :). I for myself love gwent and try to find new strategies always to beat the AI. Hell, I would like a Gwent standalone if I can... It's like Heartstone but for free...

I also like it alot, but people are diffrent, there is no way that everybody likes it :)

As far as i know you can avoid it almost in every quest that features it.
I felt the same way as you did, but now i am hooked on it.

Hate it, bring back dice poker! Have not played a game of Gwent after three trys.

This.
After learning mechanics it felt better.

Not just you. I dislike it and any of the other mini game type activities both in W3, and W2. I have however seen the game in action, but I use the console enabler and console command to win the games in order to remove them from my quest log.

In summary, those that enjoy it are happy. I can use the console as a workaround and I'm happy.
Me too. I just don't like the game(Gwent). Got 105 hrs in game and still only at 26%, so I have enough to do with out learning new card game. Besides Gwent isn't my kind of card game anyway.
I think the card game is okay in itself and would make a nice little external game to play, but games inside of another game often just get in my way of enjoying the first game. The card game does little for me personally in Witcher 3.
Gamebreaking, for me.

The part I really couldn't stand, was during a very important dialogue with BB: the FIRST dialogue choice was "Wanna play Gwent" ? What the hell ?

Played it once because of the mission, never again.
Didn't like it either, and i usually like cards game like Magic The Gathering and such, but this one is incredibly cheap, where your only real winning strategy is having powerful cards and that's it, you can't lose

Really would have liked back the dice poker of Witcher 1

Same here, wasn't interested at first. But gave it a go on my second play through and I am now hunting down cards and playing anyone. The mechanics were confusing at first, but once I paid attention, I realised how simple they were and now enjoying it.

If you think this way you don't understand Gwent a bit...
Besides, I dislike the fact that dice pokers are fully luck-based.
I love the Gwent game...
Lost a number of games till I got the best out of it... I think it's much better than dice...
