I have relied almost exclusively on the alternate version of Yrden, fully upgraded. By that I mean the little Yrden turret that fires at enemies.

Now that Ihave the Grandmaster Griffin gear, I can no longer cast the alternate version of Yrden, which is a huge blow to my chosen playing style in this game. It casts a larger version of the standard Yrden, which I always found to be worthless unless I was fighting Spectres.

Is this the way it's supposed to be? Because the new version of Yrden seems completely useless. I mean, it didn't even slow down the bandits I was just fighting.

Am I wrong? The upgraded armour seems to have completely gimped Yrden.
