I do not use GOG Galaxy - please can an answer be a different one than just "Download GOG Galaxy and do it through there"

I recently updated my Witcher 3 game to version v1.08 (I can confirm that it worked as the game says that it is the latest version when on the main screen).
I have one mod installed, which allows the console to be opening and issue commands, such as set level and other things.

However, when I download the DLCs off GOG, the installer fro each one says that the Game is not up to date and they cannot be installed. Help? Is there an easy way to fix this other than "Reinstall the game and try again"?

All help would be appreciated.

Is it possible that the patch did not install properly? I did check to see if i could install the patch again, and doesn't let me. The Patch I downloaded was the only available one on GOG so I'm assuming its the latest one.

The patches and DLCs do file checking, so you need to remove that mod completely while you apply the DLC/patch. You can put the (updated) mod back in afterwards, but make sure the mod creator has updated it for the patch.

You don't need to do that. The DLCs and patches can be run from the desktop.

No. There are no problems wherever you run the files from, so long as the game is installed correctly: the installers will find it.

Ok,I bow to the superior fixes in the game.
Hi Firestorm, this happened to me. The only way I could install the DLC's is this. Start a brand new game. Save it and quit, now install the DLC. worked fine to go back to my original game. See if this works for you. good luck.
