You know what they say don't mess about with things when they are working fine and I just had to go and UPGRADE my Nvidia drivers, now The Witcher 3 has less frames per second and it keeps stuttering. It has been running perfectly fine for hours on end ever since I purchased it. running at a constant 70fps with out a single stutter.

I've done a clean install of the latest drivers, I have tried the frames ahead by 1, I have turned off vysnc, unlimited frames and capped in msi. Everything that was working before isn't doing anything now!

I have gone back to the previous drivers which were working fine, yet still it's bloody annoying. You can clearly see it isn't as smooth as it was, because when you enter certain areas it stutters and jerks. The frame rates are also dropping out from 70 down to at times 55 every time it stutters.
I feel you :< Nvidia drivers are weird. Game itself is good. Lower than minimum GPU here and no stutter. Fluid 30 O_o.

Check that thread. Maybe something will help. Check the Nvidia stuff especially.
Thank you, I shall look into it :)
Also double-check that the in-game gfx option hasn't defaulted to windowed mode.
