I liked the way fall damage made my advantures more dangerous, no idea why developers listen to crybabies and screw up this exceptional game.
Now I can jump off anything and Geralt does automated roll to reduce damage, common guys...I want to be responsible for my mistakes in this game. Is there a way to make it the original way?

I want to play the witcher I bought day one.
Keep Witcher 3 dangerous/adventurous!

Noooooooooooooooooo thank you.

Maybe some other person who likes to be frustrated by fall damage will mod it back in for you. : )

Seriously? They took fall damage out? How silly. I finished my first playthrough a while ago and have been waiting for the dlc to wrap up before jumping back in.

They didn't take fall damage out, they took the necessity to press a button to reduce fall damage. Loading the game because I fell 1 foot farther than I could do so safely is not my idea of fun.

Yeah, I just went and had a look in-game. Not as silly of a change as it sounded like to me from the op.
Or, how I understood the op, anyway.

Idunno, "Pressing roll like a madman every time I fall" is not exactly my idea of a "Dangerous adventure". I tend to call it "Contrived and unimmersive adventure" ;-)
I am quite happy that fall damage has been somewhat nerfed by auto rolling, i got quite frustrated and became really creative with some of my cursing while Geralt inevitably ended up falling somewhere due to the tanks controls level of responsiveness

Finally my real enemy are monsters and humans again, instead of gravity

Now if control responsiveness could be improved just a little bit....

Don't like the alternative control mode?
