Hi, i bought a phisical GOTY version of the game and after installing it and playing for half an hour it crashed. I decided to just close from the task manager and play again later. However now when I try to play the game it tries to download an update, which always fails. Apart from that under the play button it says ¨unknown version¨.
Also my computer meets all the requirements so that shouldn't be a problem.

probably overheated. check your computers cooling, make sure the thermal paste hasn't dried out, verify/repair the game or delete the game files and try again. then you should be ok to play.
