It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hi everyone,
I am trìying to download the witcher 3 GOTY, but the 3rd part keeps stopping at 3.4 GB. I tried to download it with a different browser and using lan connection instead of Wi-Fi, but I didn't manage to solve the problem. Anybody please knows how I can fix this? thank you

can be various reasons.

1. use native downloader - no download extensions - can cause issues
2. download few files simultaneously/ one at a time. - seems gog has a 5hour timeout

what is your download speed?

I'm sorry, how do I use the downloader? I just downloaded and installed it, but it keeps downloading by browser

that's correct. by native i mean the browser's built in. if you want to try galaxy you can try that but be warned people still complain about download issues.

The GOG downloader uses its own protocol, therefore you *must* click on the proper links. In your GOG account (web, NOT Galaxy), choose The Witcher 3 and click on 'More > GOG Downloader Links', then click on those. The downloader will do thee rest. You can set where (what folder) they are downloaded in options.

I see. But I already tried to download with my native browser, being it Microsoft edge. Actually I tried with Chrome too, but it did'nt work. My download speed is between 700 and 820 mb/s if it can help.

but from there I can download just the installer and the language pack, not the different parts of the game

you can choose whichever download method you want

browser - i use this. if it's cutting the download, it may be connection issues. try ping tests. if it's bad you may need to try your isp to fix it.

gog downloader - apparantly unsupported. i don't know if this will work. i normally see users ask gog to make the latest download links compatible with gog downloader.

galaxy - apparently supports resuming. people sometimes say it won't download things.

if i was you, just try browser again. you've already downloaded a 4gb file already

The GOG Downloader works (take no notice of those that say otherwise; I use it). The beauty of the downloader is that you only have to click on one link, and it downloads the entire game (all files) for you. You then only have to double click on the .exe when it's finished downloading. The "different parts of the game" are all downloaded. Don't worry.
