trusteft: They should have done this in a better way. Perhaps keeping the classic ones as separate and not as extras.
Having said that, which versions come with the next gen version? I would need to avoid it. Also, any idea if there is a "table" showing the differences between each version?
Thanks for your reply.
HertogJan: Both TW3 and TW3 CE are next gen. Both are version 4.04a currently. If you want to avoid it, you'll need the classic version from the extras.
TW3 CE and it's classic GOTY version have all DLCs included. TW3 does not. You'll have to install them seperately.
Personally I prefer the GOTY, though it does have 1 downside if you wish to play the base game first and the DLC once verything is finished. The HoS area is available from the moment you enter Velen.
The difference between next-gen and classic:
- 2 extra armor sets and a letter in Vizima in Yennefer's room if you're using Galaxy. One if not (only the White Tiger set)
- 1 extra set of Witcher gear: Forgotten Wolven Gear. It comes in basic, mastercrafted and grandmaster
- 1 extra quest: In the Eternal Fire's Shadow
- better graphics

Thank you, you have been very helpful. I better install the original Witcher then if I want to play a Witcher game. (system requirements :) )
