jcrower: Me again. With Prey coming out soon I thought it was time to upgrade my graphics card so I bought a 1080.

The Witcher 3 still crashes. I still cannot get past Imlerith.

I have run MemTest and it didn't find any problems.

The constant crashing was annoying but I could put that aside because the game was so good. However I am at a point where I cannot continue. CD Projekt have not given me any solutions and have just stopped responding altogether.

Does anyone know of a way to get past Imlerith without fighting him? Perhaps a console command to skip this section?

thanks

EDIT: I loaded an early save game. I made it through the fight with Fugas, the fight with the three crones as Ciri but... crash at Imlerith.
I'm having the same problems, dude! Mine is crashing on my Ryzen and Intel rigs.

The only thing common between them is my EVGA GTX 1070 GPU.

This is THE most frustrating thing I've encountered while playing games and I've played this when it first came out on the PS4 and every update created more bugs to be fixed later. And then the updates released to fix the previous bugs introduced new bugs and so and so forth!

I love this game, but CDPR needs to get its act together!

I played this for hours and even finished Hearts of Stone expansion!

What did I do differently?

I didn't use a Trainer!

I've read that mods can cause these issues but didn't really think of the Trainer as a "mod", per se. I can't believe I overlooked this!

So yeah... anyone who's having the crashes to the desktop, DON'T USE TRAINERS OR OTHER MODS!
