Hi

I have a odd problem, that seems to be related to the 1.06 patch. Sound in the main game is fine, the issue is when I go to the inventory, play gwent, or view the map, there is crackling all the time in the audio.

This is the oinly game with audio issues on my pc, I have all the latest drivers installed.

Uisng WIndows 7 64bit.

i asked as there can be issues with audio when Win7 is under heavy CPU usage creating a cracking, popping noise & sometimes skipping audio. The fix for this problem is simple & might be worth a try

Right click on the Speaker icon in the system tray & select Playback devices.
Move the cursor over the default playback device(the one with a green tick next to it) then right click & select Properties.
You have opened Speakers Properties & you should have a choice of four Tabs, click on Enhancements.
You will see a list of enhancements, you need to turn all of the enhancements off by clicking Disable all enhancements.
Restart PC & see if the problem is fixed.

Thanks, my enhancements are always switched off. I have monitored the cpu usage, and its never very high. its also odd because it does not always crackle, but I have only had this since the 1.06 patch.
