Jawzper: Haven't played TW3 in a while, since I've been busy with study and exams etc. Everything was running fine previously, but today I updated the game to try and play Blood and Wine and discovered that I can't even launch it any more.

- I did a Verify/Repair on my installation.
- I've updated my NVidia drivers and GeForce Experience.
- The only mod I had installed was a keybinding mod, which I've removed.
- My computer previously had no problem running the game on ultra.

I just wanted to play the DLC now that I have free time. What do I do?

A.I.Person.: The mod is removed means nothing as the script will still be there to run it in the background.Not saying this is or isn't the problem as it could be something completely different.

A.I.Person.: Only suggestion as you haven't played for a while,then I would reinstall the game mainly because of the updates may not have clicked or possibly messed up the game.

Jawzper: Yeah, I'm reinstalling currently. There goes ~30gb of bandwidth... I'll see if this fixes the problem or not and get back to this thread.

Daytrader: Same problem, looks like im having to reinstall also :( why they cant make just one big install combined with all dlc to 1.31, is this the correct order of installing game from scratch below.

Bytecode: i thought this was the correct order too, but when I installed patch 1.22 it tried to patch blood and wine too and probably messed something up real bad in the base game, because now, no matter what I try to install, it says that my version of the game is not supported.

Jawzper: I didn't... I simply used GOG Galaxy to uninstall and reinstall. Incidentally it stopped working again the next time I tried to open it. This is very frustrating, it looks like I'll need to download everything and try a manual install in this order.
