I've tried searching but I can't find a solution. I'm trying to install via galaxy for the ease of keeping it up to date but never gets past the 'allocating disk space' stage. I've tried changing the designated disk drive around but that hasn't helped.

EDIT: Now I keep running into problems with it under the galaxy client? It won't even get to the allocating stage now. Is there a server issue?

It happened to me too just a few minutes ago. I reinstalled the client, and now I can't download anything, it just says "Installation failed: connection problem".

Why not just manually download it from your product page and install it without Galaxy.

As far as keeping it "up to date" - you only need to do the 1.06 patch (and all the DLC's, of course). As the patches are released, just check your account. There seems to be a number of people having issues with Galaxy.

Could be a server problem or have you tried logging out and back in,sometimes this helps.

Okay so it finally managed to download, but now it's stuck at 'installing'. I can see all the files downloaded so I don't know why it's doing this.

Same issue as well. I'm unable to verify or re-download witcher 3. :/ It just kind of sits there, then pulls a server error after a while.

Im not 100% on this, but while you have it queued for download if you click on the down arrow on the bottom left corner of GoG galaxy, select something else in the list it seems to then start the download for the main game. Currently that's working for me, no idea if it helps you.

jesus, my ass is on fire cuz of it.
first i cound not play witcher because game stuck on the loading screen

me it wont even let me download the game manually ... really anoing ... i think they took witcher 3 down completely ... or something ...

scratch that ... took about 20 mins but its downloading off of gog galaxy .... finaly ..... just wait for it guys mabe its just the servers thats overwelmed by the download demand
