Heads-A-Poppin: So, I bought the Witcher 3 standard edition from EB games Australia. Installed via the disc, downloaded GOG Galaxy. Game runs fine, but I can't 'connect' the game from my library. I click the button, it thinks for a moment then returns the 'connect' button to my screen to be clicked again.

Because of this, I have not ever updated my game (it says installed, unkown version where other games say installed X version).

I am wondering if this can be solved. Also, will it affect my purchase and play of the DLC for the Witcher 3?

If yes, then there is a chance that you can receive support from GoG, or even get a digital copy that will be playable with GoG Galaxy.
If no, then you can't play it with GoG Galaxy.

I do not recall since it was so long ago that I installed the game. The game runs fine, I can start it with the GoG Galaxy client. I just can't 'connect' it so that it will get updates and I worry that without the patches I won't be able to play the DLC if I buy it.
