I'm encountering this weird bug during the High Stakes side quest where you have to fight Finneas. Every time I try to attack Geralt doesn't throw a punch. He instead only taunts them when I press the light attack or heavy attack button. The only buttons that works during this fight is dodge (roll doesn't work), lock on, and parry. I tried reloading the save, beating him in gwent again and the bug still persist. I can't go into my inventory to change swords cause the quest locks out the inventory, and I can't exit the area either.

Have you tried to verify/repair the game? sometimes this can help

I found out I could punch only after a successful parry (this worked less than a third of the time). So I was able to beat him this way.
