I know that the two DLC (Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine) are in the Expansion Pass.
But my question is a bit particular !

In the Expansion Pass web page i see a framed warning:
The boxed PC version of the game is compatible only with the Expansion Pass sold on GOG.com

If i remember well, i bought The Witcher 3 on Instant Gaming (digital key)

So what must i buy ? The Expansion Pass or the two DLC separetly ?
Because i'm afraid to paid for the Expansion Pass and then getting a error or canno't link the Pass with the game

I already have the three The Witcher on Steam:

* The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition
* The Witcher 3: Wild hunt Game of the year

BUT i also have on GOG:
* The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
* The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition
* The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (normal)


Is there a way to upgrade for free The Witcher 3 with the two DLC instead buying the DLC ?

You have TW3 (normal, not GOTY) on GOG so the expansion pass is purchasable, NOT free. If you buy the expansion pass (currently on sale at 60% off) you will automatically be gifted the GOTY version, which includes *everything*.

So even i bought the game on third-party key revendor (instant gaming) i can buy the Expansion.
There is no restriction with that ?

Third party re-vendors, provided they are legitimate, have GOG key codes, so your game is on GOG. Provided your game is on GOG, the pass is purchasable and playable. You will also get your GOTY as a bonus.

GOTY is cheaper RIGHT NOW (it's on sale).

Indeed, the cheapest way to get The Witcher 3 with all contents is to buy the GOTY version unless (like me) if you already have the normal version (without the two DLC) then buy the expansion pass is cheaper.

That' why i got the expansion pass rather than the GOTY (cheaper)

Ok I understood. I would put the Goty version in my gift list ;-)
