I could not find this special topic in the forum, I found a lot concerning notice boards, but not this one, so I started a new topic.

I played through Witcerh main game, HoS everything worked fine, now I started with BoW and I have a problem with the notice boards, because they are not there. In the map BoW map it shows me 8 already white boards, but when I go to the locations of the board there is nowhere a board to find!

That's a problem, because I have to find the quests and points of interests by my own by running around and maybe when I am lucky I find somewhere a orange ! which would trigger the quest. And I think when I trigger by accident side quests then they are very likely to be buggy.
For example: during exploring I ran into the Adaiso Quarry, killed a few monsters and during looting near the cow I triggered the quest Contract:Bovine Blues. Now I have to find the Quarry Foreman, but this guy is not in the Quarry, according the quest indicator he is far away on a crossroad north east of the Dunclinea Windmill. I went there, but there were only a few bandits, killed them and the quest indicator showed me that he is below me...but no cave on this flatland there...asking Dr. Google showed me, that the foreman should be in the Quarry sitting in a cave with other workers...went there, he is definitv not there.

Anyone got the same problem and a clue how to activate the notice boards?

are you using galaxy? this looks like a galaxy issue. if offline installers, then re-install

You mean reinstall the game or the galaxy? ANd yes I installed the GOTY edition via 6 DVD's due to very slow internet here.

if you are not using galaxy, re-install the game.

if you ARE using galaxy - repair/verify the game via the galaxy client.

So I did the verify/repair option. GoG tried to download 27GB, which I stopped. Had this issue already during installation, and GOG support told me to do a workaround, which I did and the game worked then fine.
I was forced to install the GoG after installing the DVD GoTY edition and it seems like this GoG messes up most of the BoW expansion.
I am now on Version 1.31a for GoTY PC, is this the latest version?

Hmm there must be something seriously wrong, at the tournament, after lifting the curse I have to talk to Guillermant, unfortunately he is at the same spot like the quarry foreman...somewhere far north east of the map, northeast of Dunclea Mill, burried deep in the earth, a spot I cannot reach hmm, alright thx

you're going to continually find issues if you're game is corrupt. it doesn't matter what the game version is. i appreciate your internet is slow but galaxy is a terrible client. what you should do is try to get the offline installers. you should be able to download it through galaxy. from your point of view, you're probably using galaxy to minimise downloads but like i said, it is rubbish. you're better off using steam.

jo realized already that this galaxy thing is a terrible client. Still have steam, does the steam client realize the game when I copy it in my steam folder? Don't want to install again or even worse download it?
