AutCaesar: Hello guys, first time posting here cause I don't know what else to do.

So I'm almost beating the game and I am now at this part that you have to: "LET AVALLAC'H KNOW EVERYTHING'S READY (BATTLE PREPARATIONS)"

But when I come to the boat, Yen and Avalla'c are talking, and after they finish and I have to talk to him he only replies with: "YES"

I am no stuck in this part, already tried to RELOAD an old save and still nothing happens. Tried playing on the PC or PS5 and it does the same thing, searched for updates but nothing works...

Just let me know if my game is dead so I give up already on my 200+ hours :/

So sad after 7 YEARS there are still game breaking glicthes...
Same issue, tho if i remember correcrly this is a OLD bug. Bassicaly its a stupid big that happens when after killing ilmereth, if you dont immediatly do avalocs quest before triss and yen(finding margarita and philipa) then it causes some weird bug where the game glitches and still registers avaloc at the Inn in novigrad, which js why theres to 2 objective markers on the map -_- only fix is to have a save before starting those missions, other wise it was a full restart.

The same thing just happened last night. I was regularly switching between my ps4 and pc with the cloud save feature. This is my first play through of the game, ever. I put it off for so long because all the positive talk about the game led me to believe there is no way this game is this good. While I am going to eat crow because I was wrong, this bug just further reminded me of the cyberpunk launch disaster as well as this game's launch. This was a real bummer, and I don't think I will finish the witcher 3 now. Such a real shame, honestly haven't felt this disappointed in a long time.

I'm assuming you updated the game to 4.01? It went through for me on PS4. Didn't try on PC yet.

The game now allows you to talk with Avallac'h but he doesn't give any option to end the quest. I exhausted all the dialogue and no option whatsoever. Others are having the same issue.

It's so ridiculous it's hilarious.

I can confirm this. I updated both my xbox series x and ps5 to patch 4.01 and it finally allows me to talk to Avallac'h about finding his secret lab, why he's helping Ciri, etc... but there is no option to complete the quest or move on to the next cut scene. It just gives the same conversation options all over again and so I still can't complete the main storyline. Very frustrating.

It's not fixed. Not everyone has been able to move on. I still can't after updating, verifying and done anything I could.
