Hey guys,
I am having issues with TW3 GOTY edition that I just downloaded on my new laptop Asus TUF ES010. I have a GTX 1060 with 6gb of VRAM, i7 8700hq, 8gb of ram and yet I only have 17-18 fps in 1080p ultra but according to the net it should be at least in the 50 fps. Here's a sceenshot attached.
Even with low parameters I get 30 fps only !!
What could be the problem? :o

First of all, turn off Hairworks completely. It's burdensome even for very powerful machines. Next, be sure that you switched your laptop to full performance in the Windows power management settings and in the Nvidia drivers settings. Also it's a good idea to use drivers from the 390 series. The newest ones are optimized mainly for GTX 20x0 graphics cards and you can experience lower performance when using them with earlier Nvidia GPU's. Problems can occur especially on the mobile versions of graphics cards.

Thanks! It was indeed due to the driver. The last one 417.35 sucks but with the 417.22 I am between 50 and 65 fps !
