You have to feed him his own flesh.

there are more ways available, you could try to lift his curse for example. Visit the nearby temple and maybe you get more hints there; i don't want to spoil too much.
You have to kill him and then take his rotten flesh from his corpse. Then look for him in the small cave and fight him, then select to feed him and his own flesh will kill him.
I killed him with a tooth i get from one of the villagers.I had to fight them to take the teeth.I lift his curse like that.
I had to use a walkthrough for this quest. Is there actually any hint in the game why to feed him his own flesh?

I realize he said he tried eating food and it was burning like fire in his throat and became dust. Later he ate his own leg (?) to escape a constraint and it was painful to him. I find that a bit obscure. What did I overlook?

Do you realise that there is more than one platform you can play this game on and another not drm free vendor of games?

I played this game for multiple times on the other site and have experienced more than i read from people in this thread about this particular quest. So there is more. I learned from this game about GoG and apreciated my experience so much that i bought another copy here, because i felt bad that i did get on the other site a preorder discount for heaving both previous games.
I really find the game's choice mechanism stupid sometimes. But playing it for the storlyline. And after I saw the mission " From the depths of space " ı felt this is more than a just a rpg with a novel based story. It is a depiction of the most respected RPG'S
of the 2000's and a mixture of alchemy and craftsmanship makes it an ideal experience to play coutless hours.By the way
I wonder if there will or would be some editor like in diablo 2 or other similar games that we can use to recreate game elements like mosters, swords or new terrain; that would be awesome to create your own witcher world :) Or just an editor to mess with the stats ?

i had to go thru the entire garden at least 5 times still missed some buildings and an important water feature if you need to do a guide but its much more fun trying to figure this particular quest out by yourself ( :
Actually, ı got the game guides also but rather ı am trying to figure out the quest by expanding them and experimenting with them.It feels they are all connected somehow even if you do them sequentially or ramdomly, sure there is a mech to it.This kind of games is like multiple choice testing, you are compelled to feel the character and put yourself into their shoes. In the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt it is much more non-linear but there are better games like LIS you can feel the effects of your choice coming at your face like real-time progress so all I can say is enjoy this paradigm shift of gaming it is the root of a new branch and could pioneer to "the" future of RPG genre.
