So as the Headline says my Galaxy Client wants to download a 7.5GB Update.
Does anybody know what it is and why it doesn't show any Notes or a GOG-Downloader Link?
I would really appreciate the ability to resume such a big download...

My W3 is already patched to 1.08...

There is a bug which forces Galaxy to download all the extras of Witcher 3 (about 7,5GB) although you don't want or ask for it. I don't know a fix but if you don't want to download the extras start the Witcher 3 without Galaxy.

I had this happen as well, I seem to have resolved my issue of Galaxy repeatedly trying to download 7.5GB by uninstalling and reinstalling the the Galaxy Client and then importing my TW3 folder. It then managed to download only 140MB to update from 1.08 to 1.08.1.

i hate this , such a stupid error on their part , the stupid extras stay in the que so it you need to verify the game files and reacquire some you are forced to download 7+gigs of crap , you cant just verify and get the missing/broken game file

You can download the patch from your library. There is no need to use Galaxy (only if you want achievements and time tracking). It is optional.
