The 2 "Statue" quests for Triss must be completed before you start "A Matter of Life and Death", otherwise, you will not be able to talk to her about the statues. That's why you have no waypoint for that quest.

The thing I don't understand is why some quests automatically fail as soon as they can't be completed, while others do not. For example... ***MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW*** ...




I completed King's Gambit prior to even trying Cave of Dreams, which means that Blueboy Lugos is dead, and I can't even start Cave of Dreams now because it requires meeting up with Blueboy. However, that quest is still listed as active in my quest log, even though there's no way for me to ever complete it on this playthrough. On the other hand, I had Brothers In Arms: Velen immediately fail as soon as it became available because on this playthrough I chose to let Keira go to see Radovid (and I know how that turns out). So, the quest that requires me to meet up with a dead NPC is still active, but the quest that requires me to meet up with an NPC that has not perished has failed. Weird.

Spirit of the rule is "treat others just like you want them to treat you". I absolutely treat assholes like assholes ;-) Seriously tho, the forum only gets very little amount of moderation, which can be both good or bad, depending on your perspective. Nobody respects the rule which says that you should not derail topics anyway :D

The internet is kind of a strange place when it comes to divulging peoples personalities, sort of like the road rage phenomenon if you will.

I had a friend (an airline pilot) who used to love stirring up shit on forums just to see peoples reactions. In person, he was actually a pretty fun dude with some sickish funny stories and sense of humor that I could not help laughing at. He was also surprisingly generous, and most of the time his heart was in the right place. Still, does not excuse that behavior.

It is odd they don't have a blacklist/ignore function for users on here, most other forums do. Feel free to make up a mental one.

Anyway, re-rail the thread and bring on that 1.8 patch CPDR so that people can talk about important things :)

Yep i'll vote this one up.
i've seen some strange walking/hopping with or without a box in hand in this game.
it's a bug but a funny one.
Would get worried if every NPC would walk like that!

I have stopt my third run and will wait on the next patch. Would be nice if they could up the performance a little.
