See attached screenshot.

In the lower right of the popup window... looks like when you have nulls or unprintable chars (the little boxes) in a string.

It then ends with "el".

I don't really know when this started to happen, I noticed it after installing the 1.10 patch and HOS.

I have also installed the latest pack with all the 16 free DLCs.

Does this happen to anyone else ?

The order in which I've installed all... more or less is:

Initial game release
some patches
the free dlcs, one at the time
some patches (probably 1.08)
1.10 patch
latest free DLCs pack
HOS

EDIT: the original string was: [ESCAPE] Cancel

That explains the last two chars "el" in my garbled string.

OK, I verified it.

I've uninstalled the game.

I've installed the 1.06 version of the game and the key bindings window is ok, see the screenshot.

Then I've installed the update to 1.10 and I get the garbled string you can see in the previous post.

No DLCs installed, only the base game. 1.06 -> 1.10.

Does the developers read this forum and this can count as a bug report or I have to send a bug report in some other way ?

Also, really... does this happens only to me ?

Uhh.. well, looks I'm lucky to have only that string garbled (so far...)
EDIT: last famous words, see screenshot

http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/58848-Patch-1-10-Bug-Translation-incorrect

It seems to be something associated with localization and maybe encoding.

I'm using the english version with no language packs, BTW.

Uhm... I'm seeing so many bugs reported everywhere about the 1.10 maybe it's better to play something else and wait a little for a new patch.
