Please help. This looks like a really cool game but I am having issues. My PC specs are supported by the game. I have the latest Nvidia driver for my video card and Direct X updated. I have tried the command prompt bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072 and no help... I so want to play this game and I am very frustrated. I have even emailed support and not received an answer. Can anyone help????????????

I have a Wind. 7 62bit box with a Support Nvidia ST 220 1024MB VGA / 4 GB ram / Quad Processor and enough disk space. It competely crashes my desktop and when it does work my mouse is slow and jerky.

Do you mean to say GT220 (haven't heard of ST series tbh)? If that's the case, I think your GPU is pretty underpowered although I'm not sure how it compares to 8800GT which is the minimum requirement for this game.

Anyway for now, you might want to try using the lowest graphic configuration through your launcher.

Edit: Assuming it is indeed GT220, here is the comparison between the benchmarks for the 8800GT 512 MB and GT220

The graphic card here is the 512MB version of GT220 but I don't expect 1GB version to be significantly better.

Thanks vAddicatedGamer. You are correct with my VGA card being GT220. How do I get to the "launcher" so that I can lower my settings?

I think I might just go out and purchase the 8800GT anyway. Thanks for your help.

How can you play a game when you don't meet minimum requirement? I would recommend you getting GTX560Ti or higher.. 8800GT can probably play on low. Believe me it's worth the upgrade.. Wait til you see the forest and your jaws dropped.

Yup, next time be more careful and check the minimum requirement before buying games. Modern games in general are pretty demanding in terms of hardware (sorry if I sound preachy).

Every time before you run the game, there will be a pop-up where you click "Start Game" or something like that, below that option I think there is "Video Configuration" or something like that (sorry for being un-specific but I couldn't access my launcher since I uninstalled TW1).

Like what archaven recommend, you should get a modern card like 560 (if you budget allows, that is). 8800GT is a relatively old card by now, and it would be barely enough for the game.
You can play it with ATI 4870 (that is what I have - SAPPHIRE HD 4870 1GB TOXIC) and I have everything on high (without anti aliasing, I don't like it like effect) and shouldn't cost you much.

The minimum requirement for graphics cards are set very high, and cards below the minimum are often playable, so don't try buffaloing people into thinking they must have the latest and greatest. It's rude, it's misleading, and if anybody actually believed you, they'd waste a lot of money.

The minimum cards (8800 GT, HD 3850) play the game well on medium.

The game should be playable, at least on low, on a GT 220, and it should not under any circumstances crash the computer. If it crashes the computer, there are other, more serious, problems to attend to, and trying to solve it by replacing the graphics card would be a waste of time and money.

The next thing I would do is get "memtest86+", and run it. If it turns up defective memory, replace that.

My suggestions would be to do a clean install of the video drivers then reinstall your current video driver and unless you are using them for other reasons do not install the 3D drivers .
Also you may want to supply additional info using PC Wizard it`s a little more detailed than a standard dxdiag report .

Also if you are running any virtual drives either disable or uninstall them , these can cause big headaches with games .

By stating it crashes my desktop do you mean it gives a BSOD (blue screen) or simply crashes back to the desktop ?

If you have 64 bit Win 7, get rid of UserVA .... You have support for whole ram memory in Win x64. If you messed with other system setting, maybe that is the reason ...
