Howdy,
I've just installed the GOG 3.4.0.25 version of Witcher 2.
The only way I've been able to get it to launch is to selcct Launch Game in the launcher, then use Task Manager to close the launcher itself after the medallion appears.
Otherwise I just get the medallion and nothing happens.
Nothing happens if launched directly via the witcher2.exe and I have to use Task Manager to close the program.
- I don't have any of the programs listed here
- not running an anti virus program
- .NET 4 was installed during game installation. (running 3.5 previously)
- launcher has been given access through the firewall
- I installed the hotfix from here
System specs
CPU - i5 760
GPU - GTX 660 Ti 3gb
Memory - 8gb
OS - Win 7 X64
