I can remember when there was a cd key used to unlock the game on release day. It has been a LONG time since I had any need for this cd key. I was wondering where can you find out what is the cd key? On the same token can you still use it for anything?

Nevermind found my e-mail with the cd key. I got what I need.

Hmm it won't let me mark my own post as a solution as implied in the FAQ?
