Witcher 2 2.0: Is there a way to pause the game without showing menu overlay? Or is there a way to hide the menu overlay when paused? Pressing H doesn't work for this.

hide the HUD ( press H or whatever ) and then press ESC ;)

thanks, here's also some new tips...

- you can press PAUSE/BREAK key to pause. holding it down will slow motion. press another key to resume.
- another way to pause without showing menu is to press H to hide HUD and then press ESC
- when the HUD is hidden, the screen will turn black if you press something such as J for journal
