I was reading on Guru3d forums, and someone mentioned that CD Project developer on a Polish gaming site said that everyone should go back to using the original exe and dll files and go back to a save prior to using the GoG files, otherwise it will break the game and will make it so you can complete a bunch of quests and can't continue on.

The guy gave no source for this, can anyone else confirm what he is saying?

it's pretty obvious.
I know someone using the GoG files,also waiting to see if they break his game.
So far he is 15 hours in and no breaks,but who knows.

Would be gutted to waste that much time so i am letting others do the testing...lol
Well I am keeping the GoG exe and DLL. I just hope I don't get ploughed later in the game and have to start over.

Well if they(or the drm) booby trapped particular versions of the game so that calls can't be made, then yes the dev's right. There are small but subtle differences in all the versions mostly drm junk. So who knows. Regardless, I own the gog version simply to make a statement.

DRM=monkey balls.
