ENVIROMMENT:

"PROS."

The EnviromMent and world of Witcher 2 is AMAZING, I don't have mutch other to say. Even though it is abit liniear it feels so real and open. When I say linear I mean that the areas that you play in are sort of build up by roads or lines that you can go through. There are more or less always just 1 way to gett to your destination rather then several you can take depending on your own location.

"CONS."

The use of the map is therfor abit usless since you just have to know witch direction and then run there. It isn't like in World of Warcraft or any other MMO where you realy can run lost unless you cheack your map. But you wont notice this unless you realy think about it since every thing looks so real and natural.

However I have to Say that The Witcher 1 is more open then this one. In the Witcher 1 I realy hade to use the Map in several ocations just to find my way or to make a good destination. So if any improvement were to be made then I would say that opening the world up more and give greater use of the Map would be awsome.

"SUDGESTION."

Also I would say that diging deaper into the physics could be cool. As far as I know the only things you can interact with in terms of destruction is weak walls and barrels with the use of the storm sign (Aard). For example you could ither use an Fire sign (Igni) to burn up some branches that or bushes and behinf them is a secret passage ither for a secret area with treachuse or an alternative path in a quest. Also if you could use the enviromet to help you in battle like ither using Aard on a weak tree and it will fall down on your opponents or on some lose rocs so that they roll down and destroy somthing.

The map isn't all that useless in, say, the tangled woods of Flotsam where you're changing directions fairly often in certain areas and you have an utter inability to scale most of the ridges.

It would be even more useful if one could actually *mark the map*, which would be useful for search-and-destroy missions or the like, or for supplementing the generally sparse markers (e.g. crafters you've found).
