I hate QTEs and think the industry needs to stop using them as a cop-out for developing actual, interesting gameplay. I prefer the fist fighting from the original game. I find QTEs rather distracting and end up focusing on what key/button you're supposed to press instead of the action that's taking place.
I really like the new fighting system over the one in the Witcher 1 but I wish they could string together some longer buttons combos + shorter reaction time to make it a little more difficult.
The system is easy, but has potential to be pretty intense. If they added a second input that you had to enter at the same time ala Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophesy), they could scale up the difficulty for supposedly harder opponents and make it feel a whole lot more natural.
my only question about the fist fights is ..why didnt zdenek want his tooth back.....
It just feels completely unlike the rest of the game, and I don't like it as much as I did in the original.
Oh, they also could have had a little more variations to the crowd "banter" if you can even call it that. :/

I'm not sure what I found more annoying, that constant one "banter", or the infamous "Odrin!" from Act 2.
QTEs suck.(besides being way too easy)
I liked the fist fighting system in TW1 better. Agreed it needed some improvements, but what it didn't need was these damn QTEs.
CDPR could have made the fist fights on the line of normal combat with fists instead of weapons, complete with chain attacks and couterattacks and maybe step dodging instead of rolling around .
