It took Bioware over a month to release a patch. It's been barely over a week for this game.

Relax. Calm Down. Grab a soda or something.

Err... no. That would be around the time I'd be moving on to another game. Let's hope I don't hit that particular error. Maybe if it didn't affect saves, but even then...

Export: You don't have to sit there and watch the installation bar gradually build up. You could just set it installing and go off and watch TV for a bit. You don't even have to leave the PC, just go on iPlayer or download and watch Game of Thrones.
Nope, I'd have to re-copy all ~10GB from my 'net PC to my game PC, reinstall it , re-defrag the drive, hope that my saves are intact, and hope that the second patch attempt doesn't do the same thing. TBH, it's not that laborious nonsense that's irking me, it's the apparently cack-handed way this patch has been released.

You downloaded and installed the GoG version? Where did you find it?

If you installed the International version... well, it clearly states not to use that on GoG installs.

Steam is updatign my game now, by downloading the whole game again. Don't really care though, but I can see it being more than just a bit annoying for those who have bandwidth limits.

If you installed the International version... well, it clearly states not to use that on GoG installs.
they had a GOG version up but took it down

And then when I tried to install the international patch that I downloaded just a few minutes ago (yes, after the link change) it said my game was already up to date. But not before resetting all my settings. :)

Anyway, I'm going to assume the patch I installed last night is as good as any other until I run into some problem in game that no one else is experiencing.

Ok so i thought, Hey ! maybe it says my OFFICIALY BOUGHT RETAIL version is invalid because i have 3 mod files in my cookedPC folder.

Deleted them... ran the patcher_1.1_international...

Guess What?

Still doesn't work....critical error
