It took me a few days to completely recover from discovering what skullfuck really is - never again! Anyway, I am back with some thoughts.
I agree that the female characters look more attractive and overall superior compared to their counterparts from other cRPG games, I do think they would look better if not for those ridiculous hairstyles. All of them have their hair tied up, which could be explained by textures and animations being easier to create, but still... In the books, Triss said sorceresses are proud of wearing loose hair, while the rest of women - except prostitutes - prefer to tie hair up. Now, we see her running around with a bizarre bun or something, which is indestructible and on the top of that, waterproof ;-) Same goes with Philippa and her pigtails - IIRC, her trademark were loose hair worn in a picturesque mess, and yet she is sporting a rather childish hairstyle, which stands in contrast to her intimidating persona. Don't even get me started on Sheala/Sile and her majestic headgear ;-) I will forever call her Amidala because of that. Besides, it is the biggest hint (for those who starts playing the game) she is unploughable and the biggest defense against any sexual intercourses - no way they would make any sex scenes with Geralt and her wearing the hat bigger than his head ;-)
