Loving the game so far, but i think i've run into a pain in the ass bug.

For the quest "the eternal battle", i'm supposed to have located the sword and banner. However, while playing the game i had come across the items before i got the quest to get them.

So now i have the quest to get the items, but it only registers as me having 1 out of the 2 items.

I checked my inventory, and i have the banner, and i'm using the sword. SO what do i do?

Haven't played in awhile, but I don't remember ever being able to use the sword. Is it possible that the sword you're using is different than the one you need? You need Saskia's sword. On Roche's path she'll give it to you in the tunnels. On Iorveth's path she'll give it to you after you deal with the whole poison sideshow.

Maybe it is the wrong sword, i thought the sword i needed was the one that was with the standard

227 is correct. You don't have the right sword from the sounds of things...
